2 Love My Lips attends the Training Plus UK Salon Competition
Our lip gloss and drug detector are getting people talking, and we’re thrilled that our gloss range is going down a storm. We are getting invited to some inspiring events to help heighten awareness for our unique product, most recently a hair fashion show held by hair academies in Merseyside.
2 Love My Lips were invited to attend the annual Training Plus UK Salon Competition in Liverpool last week – a popular hair fashion show which was this year themed around the four seasons. Up and coming stylists got to show off their skills in front of an audience of fashion and beauty fans before being evaluated by a panel of judges.
We went along to support the event that promotes the support of young talent in the North West., as well as experience some gorgeous fashion styles! With a large selection of the audience being young women, we were also able to bring the subject of date rape to many people’s attention – and of course let them experiment with the range of colours available in our lip glosses too!
We are thrilled to say our gloss and detection test combo went down excellently! TPUK representative Tracy Galvin said that we offer an “excellent product”- and we have been invited to visit two of the hair academies included in the competition to further discuss the product and the risks associated with date rape.

'Following yesterday’s calls from the UN for worldwide governments to address drink spiking and drug-related sex crimes, campaigning anti-drink-spiking cosmetic brand 2LoveMyLips states the UK Government needs to do more to prevent date and drug rape incidents. The UN report published by its International Narcotics Control Board called for all governments to implement a 2009 resolution of the Commission on Narcotic drugs ‘to combat the misuse of pharmaceutical products to commit sexual assault ‘as soon as possible’ and to be ‘vigilant’ about the worrying increase in date rape drug abuse’.
